Skills
Here's a list of technologies and tools I've used either at work or for hobby projects. Although some of them I've only used for small stuff or specific tasks and lack in-depth practice, I'm always learning and expanding my skills.
Project Showcase
Here's a collection of some of my favorite personal projects I am or have been working on. From fun experiments to things I'm actually using right now.
A GNOME Shell extension that enhances the GNOME desktop with Windows-like snap assist, expanding its tiling layout and introducing additional features for a more efficient and customizable window management experience.
A WIP(!) GNOME Shell extension that implements a scrollable floating window manager combining the best features of floating and tiling window managers. It provides an efficient and clutter-free desktop experience.

Here I showcase my skills, portfolio, and share my thoughts through my blog. Built from the ground up with HTML and CSS with almost no JavaScript to guarantee a great experience with even better performance.
An unofficial, modernized interface for browsing GNOME extensions. Visit the repository for more information.

04/2024 Technical Tax Office Berlin
After completing my studies, I joined the Technical Tax Office (TFA) Berlin, where I was responsible for the development and maintenance of internal websites. During this time, I gained hands-on experience in frontend development with Vue.js and TailwindCSS, as well as backend development using Node.js, Express, and SQLite. Additionally, we started to switch to React for our projects, broadening my technical expertise even further.

03/2024 Bachelor's Degree at HWR Berlin
In March 2024, I completed my degree in Administrative Informatics at the HWR Berlin, graduating as the top of my class with honors. This achievement earned me the Margrit-Falck Memorial Award, which recognizes outstanding academic performance.
Alongside my studies, I actively participated in the open-source software community, gaining valuable practical experience. I primarily focused on developing GNOME extensions, with my most successful project being Tiling Assistant. This extension has garnered significant attention and is even included by default in Ubuntu.

09/2015 Apprenticeship and employment as a tax accountant assistant
The apprenticeship I completed at the tax consultancy firm of Mrs. Anka Anders in Mannheim. After the apprenticeship, I was employed at her office for some time before I decided to move back to my hometown, Magdeburg, where I also worked as a tax accountant assistant. Eventually, I decided to pursue a degree in Administrative Informatics at the HWR Berlin since my passion for technology was still going strong. -
10/2012 Computer Science Studies
After finishing school, I started studying computer science at the Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg because computers always fascinated me. However, I didn't complete my studies there, as I was too young, too inexperienced, and too lazy. The studies were too theoretical for me. So I decided switch to something more practical and started an apprenticeship as a tax accountant assistant.
